Please don't quote ENTIRE threads!!!!!!

When 'quoting' other posters.... please do not quote the ENTIRE thread... it is VERY annoying.

All you need to do is select the relevant comment to quote....

An example of being incapable of quoting is below.........

Spot the difference between these two posts.....

If it annoys you that much then you should look into installing a plugin for the forum that will change the default behaviour of the quote button to prevent excess quoting. Other forums I use only quote the specific post that the button is pressed on, but you can check boxes on others to enable multi quoting.

Yeah, but it's not just quoting existing nested posts, it's also quoting the full text of a long single post when the relevant point is only a few words. Or when it's not even necessary to quote any of it, such as your reply in the Fruit Shoots thread. "quote" often seems to get used instead of "reply".
