Bored Skaters goes live

Postby Steve » Fri Jan 05, 2007 1:57 pm

Remember the old horror films where Dr Frankenstein builds himself a human being from old body parts then jolts it back to life with a bold of lighting? Well in a similar fashion, Bored Skaters (now it its 6th encarnation) has sprung back to life.

Bored Skaters has joined forces with Serpentine Road to bring you the universal skating resource. This will continue to be the place to chat, but any static information can be published on Bored Skaters to make it easily accessible. Absolutely anything skating related can be added there. Think of it as wikipedia for skating.

Please sign up and reserve your name. Using the same name as SerpentineRoad would be useful and make it easier to identify who's who.

Go on over and take a look: http://www.BoredSkaters.com

Nice one Steve for digging out all the old content, especially the skater A-Z which badly needs an update now ;)

lol, mine had me in stitches - did I actually copy a whitney houston album?? I can believe that vish is more likely to have it burned on his memory than I on mine...

And skating buddies! lol!

Yeah... start sharpening those claws.

As for Vegi, I was seriously considering making a front-page template for featured skater. I think I will

Apologies - we changed servers recently and only just got around to putting the real site back. It's back now.

Is anyone else finding the new engine/design (I'm using subice) really slow?

LOL, I get the same and have beef with the author of "Bad Behavior", he seems to block most corporate protection in the name of anti-spyware!

Now the tech support page is working and shows no reasons for being black listed.
