Ranks explained

Postby Steve » Thu Feb 26, 2004 2:38 pm

There are three different types of user on the board.

Standard users
All have the ability to read and post in all the forums. I'm considering making foo only visible to members to avoid having it harvested by search engines. For standard members the rank symbols are slalom cups. The high up the ranks you go the more cups to a maximum of six.
Group members: Too many to mention.

Traffic Wardens
These are the moderators. Their tasks include reading all the posts on their specific forums, removing or editing inappropriate posts and moving/splitting threads. They also take part in all the discussions about the running of the board.
Group members: Caz, Naomi, Duncan Clarke, Etienne, GumbieBEN, GuinnessGirl, Gummidge, Jex, John, Joniquai, Look no Skywater, Saffron, SkateKitten. and BrenBaz

We do a bit of everything. Greet users, moderate posts, change board permissions/configurations, activate accounts and anything else that needs doing.
Group members: Anna, DanG and Steve.

How many posts do you need to go up a level - and what are the levels anyway?

If you look at the Memberlist page, it should be fairly obvious where the levels are.

Just looking at the memberlist, and we now have 30 people on new school. Should we make extra level above that, say 2000 posts?

IMPORTANT NOTE : this is not a challange.

it means you have to start posting in mayhem mode and not have a life in order to get cups and be cool like us! (y)

the more you post the more your name advances. Skate Patrol teach people how to Heel Brake for free on serpentine road at weekends, so go figure...
