Really wanted to but I have a mates Stag the night before which kinda precludes me from this :(

Are you thinking of taking W&Wc?

A few people will be skating the route, weather permitting. We leave at 0600 to get ahead of as much of the congestion as possible - with 30000 cyclists on the road there is plenty of potential for accidents and also big holdups. Normally we meet outside Clapham South tube at 0545, and move round the corner to Nightingale Lane j/w Alderbrook Rd at 0555, ready for the off at 0600 prompt, immediately after the first tranche of cyclists.

Plenty of info and advice for those new to this event, in last year's thread

The forecast for Sunday doesn't look very promising at present, though.

Looking like it might stay dry tomorrow am so I will be at Clapham South at 0545, it'd be good to have some skating company if anyone else is foolhardy enough to submit themselves to this torture
