Yeah... that's what I thought until I flew over a fun box cos I was going too fast and landed on my tailbone on the downside of the ramp.
Missed the platform bit completely. Literally flew over. Doh.
And yes, I had full protection on from helmet to bum pads.
Suffered for a year and ever since then I've been a wuss on skates.
Not to mention almost all of my mates getting knee, shoulder surgeries and broken bones all over.
Admire the one guy who was still grinding with both arms in casts!
Oh and what about the time I was riding stairs and flattened my friend who was at the bottom of the stairs.
She insisted on "catching me" in case I fell over. She ended up with a light concussion, never been the same since.
No more trying new things for me.
Sunday Stroll is good enough for me.
I don't think I'll ever get over "fear". Sob.
