I once tried to skate from Cowes to Newport onlong the cycle path by the river. Its nice and smooth for the first half and then it got so rough I gave up.

Bit hilly on the island... there's a bit of skating to be done along the front from Cowes to Gurnard ... cycle path is a dead loss .. I tried that too... also I've been told there's some smooth stuff along the front in Rude

Where are you going... Oh and if you are Kris from Brighton skate... there's an ice ring in Rude ;)
