Re: Brief review of KSJs vs EVOs

I'm not sure why skaters aren't buying igors instead. I'll have to ask about that sometime, but it could just be a bias against igors/EVOs in China where it's thought that they're designed for "western" feet which are supposedly more narrow than Asian feet. Many of the skaters who have to...

Re: Brief review of KSJs vs EVOs

I never saw the WFSC's for sale in any shop in Europe and I don't know if they were really produced, they were announced in the Seba 2013 range in black, not gold. Here you go: http://www.onlineskateshop.nl/4722/skates/freeskate/seba-wfsc-free-skate I can't really see the point of them, unless Seba...

Re: After Seba Trix...

+1 for freewave for letting me do slalom without ankle pain. the only other reasonable option I know about is to "downgrade" to high carbon (the 2011 model with removable liner). I say with removable liner because I skated my high lights on friday (4th session since new) and had quite a l...

Re: New Skate Brake Kickstarter

How about targeting downhill skaters? My thoughts exactly. Downhill skating may be a niche market, but it might be worth it to see if any downhill skaters would be willing to test the brakes under the extreme conditions of their sport. You don't need to target them exclusively, but getting the devi...

Re: Seba High Light, can anybody review them?

Hi Boris, like you I was also looking at this skate with some interest. I don't actually own it, and can't offer you any guidelines on fit. Azumi's remark might not offer any specific guidelines either, but he may have a point with the comment about the GTX because the High Light seems to share the ...

Re: Seba 2013

For the kind of synthetic suede inner, its a pity, but he didn't pay attention to the type of fabric used inside. I can confirm that this suede like fabric is excellent, no hole, no wear on my more than two years old KSJ, the only visible difference with new boots is that the fabric looks "pol...

Re: Seba 2013

smagoody, suede-leather? Are you lumberjacking here? xD Anyway, it felt like smooth fake leather to me; plus mesh. "Lumberjacking"? LOL. I said "suede- like ", not "suede- leather ". And I was talking about the material on the inside of the skate, hence the word "...

Can you tell us whether the liner on the High Light has the suede-like material found on their higher-end skates, or is it like the one on the regular High?

Meanwhile, I just noticed that the high carbon ain't in the new line. It's just high deluxe, high light n d regular highs As Shaw said, they're in the PDF ( http://www.sebanews.com/app/download/6165196281/Seba_katalog_2013_web.pdf?t=1361272517 ), but not on their official site for some reason. Re: Seba 2013

Nah, his contract simply ended, and he did not want to renew it. Well, that would certainly explain why they dropped his name from their skates. What's the meaning of WFSC? The BMH logo on the heel of the KSJ/WFSC skates is a lot more cryptic. I don't think anybody really knows what it stands for. ...

Bebai, I hope you get your skates or get a refund soon. You must have the patience of Job to wait another month for them to sort it out, though! LOL!!! Just be aware that the Chinese New Year holiday is coming up soon. By Googling around a bit, it looks like it's officially from February 9th to 15th...

Have you tried contacting the BuyChina support to see if they can help you find out what's going on with your package? If they have responded, what was their response?

Re: Eastwood M8 Frames?

I'd actually recommend most people against buying full skates from taobao unless it's from a highly reputable seller. ... In general it's just much safer to deal with people you know, and even then just because I know a store won't rip me off doesn't mean that I know they won't rip you off. In the ...

I remember seeing Twister liners listed on the Freewave website. I've never dealt with them, and I can't read Korean, but I have heard of people outside Korea who've ordered custom made skates from them. Here's the link, I hope it might be useful: http://www.free-wave.co.kr/shop/shopdetail.html?bran...

They seem terrible for any sort of dedicated skating, but they might be convenient for those who regularly use skates to commute. The name is awful though. Worse than Trix even. Thanks to all for your helpful advice, things are much clearer now. :) Jipe, thanks for sharing your experience with the skates. I guess the closest size for me, then, would be 43 in either skate. All that's left to do is order it and hope I don't have to ship it back to exchange it. I'm curious to ...

Trix/KSJ Sizing Confusion

I'm looking for some slalom/street skates for some light street skating and freestyle. Since I can't buy any locally I resorted to asking online shops from overseas. So far I've emailed six shops, and three of them replied. I told them that my longest foot is 273mm, and asked them what size they wou...
