Re: Strange spare parts

Yes indeed! This is exactly what they are. I no longer have my Twister pair ( I sold it). I will put the frame on Seba FR1 so they are not needed.

Thank you for your answer..

Strange spare parts

I ordered a frame and along with the packaging I also got these.

Any idea what they are?

Re: Yes, it's time to turn the lights out

Can we keep the forum as read-only?

It has very good SEO position for skating subjects...
It is sort of a Wikipedia for skates.

Comes in sizes 80mm and up.

Rumor says that it is made by Matter

Price 8x80mm = 60 Euros
During the marathon it was 50% off
Large sizes cost more.

Re: Can't post pictures any more

Thank you for your insights! But how did it work so far? Or it never worked in the first place? The problem with imgur is that (unless you pay) it only keeps images for six months. While photos uploaded directly in the forum stay for ever. The preview thumbnail is also nice. Is disabling of images a...

Can't post pictures any more

Hello I cannot attach pictures any more to posts. The preview works fine after adding a file (and placing it inline) but when the actual post goes up the image is not shown (only its name is shown) This used to work since I have used images in posts multiple times in the past in this very same forum...

Re: After Seba Trix...

Nice wheel colours!

I don't think that Trix and Igor are comparable. They seem to me that they have different target groups. The igor is clearly aimed at slalom (pre-rockering/sliders)
while the Trix is more of an all around skate (comes in 90mm editions as well).

Re: Replacement liners for Twister!

When you have a Twister model where after some years 1)One of the top buckles does not work well because of destroyed "teeth" 2)The liner is work out 3)The side of skate (where competitors have extra sliders) is torn up 4)The brake housing is broken Then yes I start looking at a new skate....

Re: Replacement liners for Twister!

I don't think that Rollerblade is utterly incompetent. They don't sell liners (or any other spare parts) on purpose. They force you to buy a new skate and pay them more money. This is what you do when you are well known (or market leader) in a sector in order to make a nice profit. I was a happy Twi...

You should keep your 90mm skates. They are great for marathons ( >40 km).

Re: Wheel size

It depends on the company, but there are skates which have different versions for man/woman. For example the Twister W has a lower cuff/liner and a narrow fit compared to the male version. If you can find them at a shop you can easily see the difference. But yes, for most cases just the colour chang...

Re: Powerslide Vi FSK

My friend with VI 90. He uses this skate for its original purpose (fitness). No jumps, no slides, no dangerous stuff, just riding. After one fall the cable snapped. Apparently the cable is not secured against abrasion. The photo shows his temporary solution until he got a replacement cable. powersli...

Re: Powerslide Vi FSK

I would advise against this skate It is a fitness boot mounted onto a freestyle frame. Unfortunately the boot is not protected at all from slides or falls. The strap system is very easy to break after one fall. This is OK for a fitness boot (where you are supposed to have long lazy rides with your s...
